WarioWare: Twisted! Credits

Whew, I'm almost done taking screen grabs of Mawaru/Twisted. It'll still take a while for me to format all of the info, but rest assured that I'll be updating again soon. For now, you can view the complete English credits for WarioWare: Twisted! here.

Wario News Round-up

A few interesting rumors are spreading about upcoming Wario games. According to Surfer Girl, there are at least three new Wario games in the works. She claims that "one of those Wario games is coming to the Wii, but is not a Wario World sequel." Additionally, she confirms that one of the Wario games will be a WarioWare title for the DS. She unfortunately doesn't mention what the third title could be.

Now, I'm not sure how reliable surfer girl's information has been in the past, but she seems to know her stuff. Assuming her info is indeed correct, I'm going to guess that the new DS WarioWare game will show off new technology. There's no way they'd just do touch-screen games, so I'd bet on it using a new peripheral. Perhaps they'll make use of the DS Camera?

I'm going to predict that the Wii game will also be a WarioWare title, and that it'll make use of the Wii Balance Board.

I'm curious about what the third game could be. A DS platformer more in line with Wario Land rather than Wario the Thief would be fantastic.

Anyway, that's all speculation. I'm sure we'll find out more about the future games soon enough.

Site Update

Less than three months between updates; that's not too shabby! For those wondering, I'm still hard at work on the new site, with a news script being my first priority. Once I get that done the new Microgame pages should come soon after.

In the meantime, if you have any questions/comments, want to contribute fan art, or wish to help with the site, feel free to e-mail me at wariocompany(at)gmail(dot)com

It's-a we, Waricom!

First Sonic in Smash Bros. Then Street Fighter IV. Now, the rebirth of Wario Company. Yes, it's certainly been a month of surprising announcements. Wait, what was that last one again? Wario Company reborn?! Yes, it's true! In honor of the site's upcoming 5 year anniversary, the site is currently undergoing a complete overhaul.

First, let me introduce myself. I'm a long-time Wario fan who's recently suffered a bump on the head, so I now go by the name Waricom. My interests include garlic, money, and video games, though not necessarily in that order.

As for my plans for the site, first up will be redesigning the existing areas (namely the Microgames section of the original WarioWare, Inc.). After that, I hope to add new content for my most favorite of WarioWares, Mawaru (Twisted!). I do have a DS, but I don't currently have plans to fully cover Sawaru (Touched!). And unfortunately, I don't yet have a Wii. So, unless someone wants to send me one (pretty please?), coverage on Atsumare!! and Odoru! will be rather limited.

Aside from coverage of the WarioWare games, I also intend to use this site as a sort of personal gaming blog, so expect to find any and all Wario news I can get my gloves on. My other video game interests mainly concern DS games, so also expect the occassional commentary on games like Ouendan/EBA, Advance Wars, and pretty much any other first-party DS games.

So, the Google ads. I don't really expect to make a profit on this site, but any income generated from the ads will go towards paying hosting bills and domain registrations. If you see an ad for something that interests you, please do click it. After all, Waricom loves money!

Fans of the old site will be pleased to know that the previous version can still be accessed here, albeit in slightly broken form: http://wariocompany.com/v1/main.shtml

Also, I'm not sure if I properly advertised its existence before, so please be sure to check out WarioWare: Twisted! Uncensored by Asho.

Keep an eye out on this page in upcoming weeks. I promise I won't wait another 4 years to update again ^_~

Cheers, Waricom
